I've change the numbering system on my tapes (I think for the better). I don't think it'll cause any problems.

I've been watching Wrestling for 17 years, and I taped several programs in 1984 that I've saved. Wrestling From The NWA Georgia and Central States areas, Mid-South Wrestling, and The World Wrestling Federation. I have several tapes from the 1990's too.

Right now, there are 26 videotapes listed on this page, practically all of my collection. With the shows from 1984, so far I've been able to pinpoint the day they were broadcast with reasonable accuracy. These tapes have the matches, the interviews and even The Commercials from 1984. The Freebird Tapes don't have commercials. The tapes from the 1990's have commercials too in most cases. I put this page online for MY BUDDY, The Reverend Axl Future. Also, check out USTY's Tape Trading Page. USTY (of Wrestling Uncensored Fame) has a tremendous collection of tapes. Also of Wrestling Uncensored Fame is The Flying Scotsman, Scotsman's Tape List Check both of their sites out.

Although he sells his tapes, John McAdam has the most comprehensive list of tapes I've ever seen. It's amazing. I'm gonna order some tapes from him. He's got tapes of one of my favorite tag-teams of ALL time, The P.Y.T. Express.

I've always been a BIG Fan of The Fabulous Freebirds: "Purely Sexy" Michael Hayes, Terry "Bamm-Bamm" Gordy, Buddy "Jack" Roberts, and Jimmy "Jam" Garvin. So much so, that I started taping The Freebirds appearances in NWA/WCW. Hayes and Garvin were the 'Birds at the time, and they had a "Roadie" named Little Richard Marley (AKA Rocky King). Michael Hayes put out an album in 1987 called "Off The Streets," and THAT'S why they needed a Roadie. Volume 1 of my Fabulous Freebirds Tape covers August or September through December of 1990. Over on ESPN, they were showing matches of The Freebirds from around 1987 or 1988, and I taped those as well. Also, I dubbed over The 'Birds Debut appearance on WWF Programming from 1984, but somehow the last few seconds got cut off. The match is intact though.

The Fabulous Freebirds Volume II takes off in 1991, when "Diamond" Dallas Page was brought in as their Manager, with "Big" Daddy Dink as their Road Boss. Then when DDP brought in The Diamond Studd (Scott "Razor Ramon" Hall), I taped The Studd's matches too. Brad Armstrong was brought in as a partner for The Freebirds, and Brad was known as Badstreet.

The Freebird Tapes also include matches of teams they were feuding against, like The Steiner Brothers and The Young Pistols.

There are six tapes here are from 1984. All of the tapes are broken down match-by-match. I don't tell you who wins. These tapes are six hours long in the SLP mode unless otherwise noted.

One of the Mid South Shows in my collection, as well as a WWF Show that I have, have good sound, but a really snowy picture. Another Mid-South episode has slight snow, and still another Mid-South show keeps getting interrupted due to a bad storm coming to Tulsa. I'll mention defects like that. Most of my tapes (even the ones that are 15 years old) have very good quality picture and sound wise. I don't know what brand names of tapes to use for trading. I'll go to a few sites and see what they do. Let me know your preference on that.

All-Star Wrestling is The NWA's Central States Area, World Championship Wrestling is The NWA's Georgia Area, and All-American Wrestling Is from The World Wrestling Federation.

  • Misc

  • Does Anybody Have ANY Footage Of DEVIL BLUE?
He wrestled in Georgia (World Championship Wrestling) in 1984.

I'd also like some footage of The P.Y.T. Express (Norvell Austin and Koko B. Ware) either from their days in World Class or Florida, but ESPECIALLY from their brief stint in Mid-South in the Summer of 1984. They beat the Midnight Express on TV in their Mid-South debut.

    Misc.

This is about all of the tapes that I have that I know of.
I probably have more Fragments of Nitro and Raw
I found about 30 minutes of Nitro from 1996, showing Scott Hall and Kevin Nash attacking The American Males and Nash throwing Rey Misterio Jr headfirst into a trailer.
I found some other Nitro too
I have most of WrestleMania 16
I have WWF Judgement Day 2000
    I have Austin 3:16 Uncensored
    I have WCW Uncensored 98
    I have the D-X Video
    I have WWF Invasion '92
I have a BETAMAX tape of either Starrcade '84 or '85. I'm trying to get a copy in VHS
I have ECW Path of Destruction
    I have ECW Extreme Evolution

I have the NBC special The Secrets of Pro Wrestling.
I have the Andy Kaufman special I'm From Hollywood.
I have the Kevin Von Erich interview that was on Extra on June 9, 1999. But I can't find it!

Hopefully the design is better now that each tape is on a separate page rather than having EVERY tape on one page.
