[Interview conducted by Tony D.]

TD: What's your real name, and what gimmicks have/do you use?

SSS: My name is "Spiffy" Sean Styles. You can call me Spiffy,
     Sean, or Triple S.

TD: What height/weight are you?

SSS: I'm 6'2, 261.

TD: What circuits do you currently wrestle in?

SSS: I wrestle primarily in the Northeast. I do a lot of work for
Mason-Dixon Wrestling, HCW, ACCW, the NWA-East, PWL, which is a great
up-and coming place, and some other indy feds.

TD: What titles have you held?

SSS: Titles are really not important. I am the HCW Heavyweight Champion,
and I've held some other belts in other promotions.

TD: When did you decide to become a wrestler?

SSS: I kind of knew my whole life. I was a big fan back in the 80's. I
grew up on the Rock n Wrestling era. I am only 21 now, so I stil
have lots of time to learn, and get better.

TD: And how did you get started?

SSS: I got dropped on my head a lot when I was a kid. I figured there had
to be a way to get paid for doing something I was an expert at!
Actually, I started out as an announcer for the NWA TV show in
Pittsburgh. Went from the booth, did just about everything else, and
ended up in the ring. Commentary is honestly still my true calling.

TD: Who has been the biggest influence on your career?

SSS: There have been a lot of people. Jim Hawkins, the promoter for
Mason-Dixon Wrestling, has helped me out a lot. He gave me the
chance to get in-ring experience. Former WWF and WCW tag champ Samu
helped me out. it was cool to see him kicking ass on the Heroes PPV,
knowing that last week I was kicking his ass in darts, lol.

TD: What has been the greatest moment of your career?

SSS: Probably when I beat the Masked Assassin. There is a guy who has
put over 20 years in the business, and he put me over. That was big
     for me.

TD: Who are/were you trained by? What kind of athletic
background do you have before you became a wrestler?

SSS: I trained in the NWA-East. I have played just about every sport.. I
was an Jr. Olympic volleyball player, actually. I played some College
baseball and tennis, and I love to golf, when I can.

TD: Who is your favorite wrestler to work with in the ring?

SSS: Actually, I like working with the younger wrestlers. It gives me a
chance to call the shots, and dictate the pace and flow of the match.
A lot of young workers do not understand that you are telling a story
out there, and I help them realize that.

TD: Any major enemies? If so, who, and why?

SSS: Well, there are always some people you come across in this business
that you just don't seem to see eye to eye with, and god knows I've
had my share. However, one thing I HAVE learned is that running your
mouth about it is a great way to get yourself even more heat. So on
that one, I'll have to say no comment!

TD: Which promotion gives you the most heat?

SSS: By heat, I am not sure what you mean. If you mean where I am really
popular with the fans, I'd say MDW. The fans there are really cool
to me. I like the NWA as well, because that is where I got my break,
and they remember me from the old days.

TD: Do you ever consider working in the WWF, WCW, or ECW if they
    are interested in your talent?

SSS: No. I want to keep busting my ass in othe indy scene for next to
nothing. Screw the WWF! Who wants to work there, anyway?

TD: If you had to pick, WWF, WCW or ECW? Where would you go? And why?

SSS: I'd go where I was wanted. I am a creative man, and I want to have
some kind of input. I would like to go to WCW, because there is a
lot of incredible young talent there, and it is untapped.

TD: Do you have a computer? If so, what do you think of the
reporters and sheet writers on the internet?

SSS: Actually, that is something else I did before I started wrestling.
In fact, I still do write online. I was with the Bagpipe Report a
few years ago, and for the past 2 years, I was a staff writer for
SCOOPS. I now work with Wrestling Uncensored. I have gone on record
several times as saying the sheets don't know shit. Guys like Keller,
Scherer, and Meltzer THINK they know what is going on, but in reality,
they are just tools for the federation. If you do the research, most
of the sheets, even the God-Like Scherer and Ryder, only get it right
     about 50% of the time.

TD: Do you have a college degree or any other higher education?

SSS: Still plugging away at college. One of these days, I will be done
with all that fancy book learnin'.

TD: Any advice you'd give a wannabe wrestler?

SSS: Get a real job, and leave the wrestling to the pros. Any 16 year old
kid who is hitting his friends in the backyard with a chair is NOT a
     wrestler, and never will be.

TD: Any final comments for the readers?

SSS: Just to follow your dreams. It can happen, it is just a hard road.
If you think the road to being in the WWF is easy, good luck. I am
number 354 in the PWI 500, and the WWF doesn't even know my name yet!
     So keep plugging away.
