TD: What's your real name, and what gimmicks have/do you use?
(Simon overlooked this question on August 1st, but thanks to him and the
March 2001 issue of World of Wrestling, I have the answer)
Simon Diamond in ECW and Lance Diamond and "Superstar" Lance Diamond
in independents.
TD: What height/weight are you?
SD: 6'1", 230
TD: What circuits do you currently wrestle in?
SD: ECW
TD: What circuits have you wrestled in?
SD: WWF, ECWA, PCW, NWA, IWF, NSWA, ISPW
TD: What titles have you held?
SD: ECWA Heavyweight, tag, mid atlantic, Super 8, PCW Heavy, tag
and Americas, NWA North American IWF Heavyweight
TD: When did you decide to become a wrestler?
SD: after I left college (But I returned to graduate later!!!!!)
TD: And how did you get started?
SD: in Jim Kettner's ECWA after 9 months of training
TD: Who has been the biggest influence on your career?
SD: Jim Kettner
TD: What has been the greatest moment of your career?
SD: signing a contract with ECW
TD: Who are/were you trained by? What kind of athletic background do you
have before you became a wrestler?
SD: Jim Kettner....I was drafted by the Padres out of high school in the
34th round but I decided on a baseball scholarship to VCU instead
TD: Who is your favorite wrestler to work with in the ring?
SD: Jerry Lynn, Dreamer, Cheetah Master
TD: Any major enemies? If so, who, and why?
SD: None
TD: In which promotion are you the most over?
SD: ECW, I hope
TD: Do you ever consider working in the WWF or WCW if they are interested in
your talent?
SD: not right now
TD: If you had to pick WWF, WCW or ECW, where would you go and why?
SD: ECW
TD: Do you have a computer? If so, what do you think of the reporters and
sheet writers on the internet?
SD: It's part of the business, people have to learn to live with it
TD: Do you have a college degree or any other higher education?
SD: BA English, Virginia Commonwealth University
TD: Any advice you'd give a wannabe wrestler?
SD: get trained first and don't be a backyard wrestler!!
