                                     With Sgt. Stryker

[Interview conducted by Tony D. on May 15, 2001]

TD: What's your real name, and what gimmicks have/do you use?

SS: Well, I would love to give you my real name, but I am a masked female
wrestler. So, for the time being my name has been either "Sgt. Stryker"
or "Malisha". The gimmick is pretty much the same, mask, Army boots,
pants and a t-shirt or tank top that says "Casualties of War".

TD: What height/weight are you?

SS: I am 5 foot 7 inches and weigh around 175lbs.

TD: What circuits do you currently wrestle in?

SS: OPW (Oklahoma Professional Wrestling) (Rocco Valentino is the owner),
ICW (International Championship Wrestling) (Henry Hubbard), etc.

TD: What circuits have you wrestled in?

SS: Same as the last question.

TD: What titles have you held?

SS: None

TD: When did you decide to get into wrestling?

SS: I thought about wrestling as a young child. My mom always told me that
I couldn't do what the 'boys' did. I guess I showed her.

TD: And how did you get started?

SS: By luck. A friend of mine, her ex-husband was a professional wrestler
(Ice Diamond), he knew the owner of OPW, and I went to the school, did my
interview and the rest is history.

TD: Who has been the biggest influence on your career?

SS: As far as well known names go, I would have to say Chyna of the WWF,
for helping pave the way for women wrestlers. And, for helping me get
where I am at today, I would have to say Heather Savage (OPW) and Venom,
a very well known indy wrestler.

TD: What has been the greatest moment of your career?

SS: I hope the best is still to come! But, if I had to choose, I would say,
the first time I came from behind the curtain when my music was playing
and my name was announced. I believe that was one of the biggest
adrenaline rushes I have ever had. I pray that there is more to come.

TD: Who are/were you trained by? What kind of athletic background do you
have before you got into wrestling?

SS: I was trained at OPW (Oklahoma Professional Wrestling in Tulsa, Ok) by
Rocco Valentino, and also by Heather Savage and Venom. I played
softball, basketball and was in track and field in high school. I was
a Military Police officer in the U.S. Army.

TD: Who is your favorite wrestler to work with?

SS: Venom, we both give and take while in the ring.

TD: Any major enemies? If so, who, and why?

SS: None, that I know of?

TD: In which promotion are you the most over?

SS: OPW (Oklahoma Professional Wrestling)

TD: Do you ever consider working in the WWF or WCW if they are interested
    in your talent?

SS: If they were interested in my talent, I would love to work with either
    one of them.

TD: If you had to pick WWF or WCW, where would you go and why?

SS: If I had to pick betweem the WWF or WCW, I would have to say the WWF.
I hardly ever saw female wrestlers on WCW. I honestly wouldn't be
picky if either one of them called.

TD: Do you have a computer? If so, what do you think of the reporters and
    sheet writers on the internet?

SS: Yes, I do have a computer. Well, since I am a History Major in college.
I say they have "Freedom of Speech", but I think they might want to make
sure what they write is the truth with proof, and not something for
    a headline.

TD: Do you have a college degree or any other higher education?

SS: In the process of obtaining my degree in Secondary Education.

TD: Any advice you'd give a wannabe wrestler?

SS: Be careful in choosing a organization to wrestle for. Listen, not
just hear what your training is teaching you. And most of all,
there is never a stupid question. The only stupid question is one
    not asked!

TD: Any final comments for the readers?

SS: If you want something bad enough, never let anyone tell you that you
that you're not good enough, not smart enough or talented enough.....
