The Midwest Wrestling Federation ran their first show at The National Guard Armory in Pittsburg, Kansas. It was called "Genesis" and it happened on August 4, 2001.

They started a Cruiserweight and a Heavyweight Tournament at Genesis. At Genesis, "The Real Deal" Adrian Steel returned to Pittsburg. He wrestled here twice in 1999 with The World Wrestling Alliance. Adrian was also one of the first six wrestlers that I interviewed. Check that out in the WWA Pages here at my website.

The entire show was good, but I've got to say that Brandon Tripod, The Punisher and Kong were great faces, and Reckless Ryan Reed and Sweet Dreams Gary Graham were both great heels. Romeo Paradise might be my favorite (Male) Manager in Wrestling now (Sorry Dave Prazak and Donnie B!).
(Of course Dawn Marie is my favorite (Female) Manager in Wrestling!)

On October 26, 2002, I purchased a videotape of Genesis.

The MWF came back to Pittsburg, Kansas on April 27, 2002 for their show Evolution and the show was sold out. The main event was Danny Doring vs. K-Kwik! I got my picture taken with both Danny and K-Kwik. Dusty Wolfe also was at Evolution but I didn't get his autograph. I wanted my picture taken with him as well, maybe next time. Dusty Wolfe and I both write for Kayfabe Memories.

"The Next Legend" Logan Moore and Krow both really impressed me. Seven and Kong did some outrageous things in their hardcore match. Of course it rocked seeing Danny Doring, K-Kwik and Dusty Wolfe. This was my first time seeing Pimptight Kevin Lovejones and Krow to name two. The Lunatic returned to The MWF at that show. "Mr. Saturday Night" Micheal Barry also made his debut at The National Guard Armory and he brought three lovely women with him as his valets.

Romeo Paradise isn't affiliated with The MWF anymore, and I don't know who runs things behind the scenes (Yes I do). Stephen E. is the Commissioner.

The MWF came back to Pittsburg on October 12, 2002 (Baby) and I got more autographs and spent about $20 at the merchandise table. This show was my first time at seeing "Impressive" Anthony Wayne (talk about someone that lives up to their nickname) and Prometheus and Eddy and Shamus McMurphy. The MWF has now started an "Extreme Division". The Extreme Matches are Falls Count Anywhere, No Countout, No DQ and the use of weapons is not only legal, but encouraged!

The MWF came back to Pittsburg on October 26th and the main event was "The Next Legend" Logan Moore and "The Space Cowboy" Jason Jones vs. "Mr. Saturday Night" Micheal Barry and "Pimptight" Kevin Lovejones (The Name Just Says It All). Krow, Kong and "Handsome" Brandon Tripod (The Three Legged Wonder) returned to Pittsburg at that show.

The MWF returned to Pittsburg for the fifth time (which was the 8th wrestling show that I've seen at The National Guard Armory) on November 23rd, 2002. There was a Battle Royal at that show and the winner of the Battle Royal got a shot at MWF Champ Logan Moore. Prometheus won the Battle Royal, but Logan Moore kept the belt. The Outlaw was supposed to take on TNL, but The Outlaw wasn't at the show. "Mr. Saturday Night" Micheal Barry wasn't at that show, either.

The MWF returned for Yule Tide Peril on December 14, 2002. The Tiger Kid returned to Pittsburg, Kansas for the first time since March of 2001. Krow defeated Thorn to win the MWF Cruiserweight Title, Prometheus won the first ever Lockdown Battle Royal to become the first MWF Extreme Champion. You don't throw your opponent over the top rope to win the Extreme Lockdown Battle Royal, YOU HANDCUFF THEM TO THE BOTTOM ROPE! The Next Legend Logan Moore was injured at the show, and The MWF Heavyweight Title is Vacant now.

The MWF returned to Pittsburg, Kansas on February 15, 2003. This was the night of the Awards Ceremony (MSN took home three awards in all, TNL with two and The Space Cowboy with one). Tanker had his very first match and Snap made his MWF debut. Kong took on Mr. Saturday Night for the vacant belt, but they were counted out (or did the time limit expire?) so the belt was still held up until March 15.

On March 15, 2003, Mr. Saturday Night and Kong fought again in a Ladder Match, and THIS TIME, there was a winner. Stephen E. climbed the ladder and got the belt and he gave it to MSN. The Outlaw and Dominator both came back to The MWF, AS A TAG TEAM! Yes, you read that right, as a tag team! They fought Bad Company, Yukon Eric, Jr. and "The Real Deal" Adrian Steel.

On April 11, 2003, The MWF returned to Pittsburg, and "The Space Cowboy" Jason Jones defeated "Mr. Saturday Night" Micheal Barry for the MWF Title. The Punisher wasn't on the card, so Tarantula got a new partner, Jeff Tiger. Dexter Hardaway made his MWF debut on the show.

On Friday, October 25, 2002, "The Space Cowboy" Jason Jones, "The Next Legend" Logan Moore and Prometheus were on KKOW 96.9 FM and I taped it. Prometheus and TNL were on KKOW again on Friday, November 22, 2002 and I'll get both of these interviews transcribed and on my website hopefully sometime soon (in the not too distant future, next Sunday AD, la la la).

I'm thinking about putting up some of my match results from Promotion Wars here sometime soon. Promotion Wars is a wrestling simulation game in which you're the booker and you put together your own wrestling federation. I took over the WWF and have thrown out all of the WWF wrestlers and replaced them with MWF wrestlers. I could make a list of my titleholders (and even the "title history" for the belts) and a list of who is in my roster. I'm just toying with the idea now though. Currently (In my Promotion Wars game, not in real life)
World Champion: "Dastardly" Danny Doring
Tag Team Champs: "Mr. Saturday Night" Micheal Barry and "Pimptight" Kevin Lovejones
Kansas Champ: Big Hoss
Cruiserweight: "Impressive" Anthony Wayne
Missouri Champ: Squirt McGuirk
Hardcore: Dominator

In my Promotion Wars game, I also changed to the MWF logo as well as the names of the titles. When I put my match results online, I'll also put my Title Histories, but remember these match results and title histories NEVER HAPPENED! It's just a game. Some of the people in my game aren't with the MWF anymore.

The Midwest Wrestling Federation returns to The National Guard Armory in Pittsburg, Kansas on June 21, 2003.

In the Main Event, The Old School Express ("The Space Cowboy" Jason Jones and Krow) take on The Smooth Criminals ("Mr. Saturday Night" Micheal Barry and Thomas Thorn

Below I have websites for you to check out of some MWF Superstars in addtion to my reports for all of the shows that I have attended. I have "quick" results just telling you who won and how and I have "complete" results featuring the notes I took during the show (yes, I take notes DURING the show).
