[Interview conducted by Tony D. on April 3, 2000]

TD: What's your real name, and what gimmicks have/do you use?

MC: My real name?! Well.. most just call me Jay. As far as gimmicks go,
I've wrestled as Moondog Chopps, and as Orderly Chopps (an attendant
    from a mental hospital)

TD: What height/weight are you?

MC: I am 6'4 and weigh around 330 lbs

TD: What circuits do you currently wrestle in?

MC: At the moment I am not wrestling.

TD: What circuits have you wrestled in?

MC: I have wrestled for Extreme Canadian Championship Wrestling,
    and Championship Wrestling USA

TD: What titles have you held?

MC: I'm a 2 time EccW tag team champion, with my partner the soon
to be hardcore legend, Moondog Manson

TD: When did you decide to become a wrestler?

MC: Being a wrestler is something I've wanted to do since I was a kid,
but never really thought I'd follow up on the dream. Finally after
attending many eccw shows I said I gotta give this a try...

TD: And how did you get started?

MC: I (and a group of other wrestling hopefuls) met with Gorgeous Michelle
Starr after a show and found out about his wrestling school

TD: Who has been the biggest influence on your career?

MC: Well.. I'd say Starr has been a big influence on my career, I wish I
was 1/2 as good as he is.

TD: What has been the greatest moment of your career?

MC: I guess I'd hafta say winning the tag belts for the first time in a
triple threat barbwire match against the GoD (Starr and Johnny Canuck)
and the Portland Connection (Chad Manning and Tony Kozina)

TD: Who are/were you trained by? What kind of athletic background do you
have before you became a wrestler?

MC: I was trained by Michelle Starr and his assistant (at the time) Torch.
As for an atheletic background, I played rugby in high school and
    roller hockey after that.

TD: Who is your favorite wrestler to work with in the ring?

MC: I really enjoyed our matches with the GoD. Starr and Canuck were great
to work with, even if I did occasionally fuck up a match.. heh.. also,
Southern Comfort Ray Brooks, I love working with him.

TD: Any major enemies? If so, who, and why?

MC: No, no real enemies, most guys I've worked have been really professional
and good guys to work with.

TD: In Which promotion are you the most over?

MC: ECCW

TD: Do you ever consider working in the WWF, WCW or ECW if they are
    interested in your talent?

MC: If they were intersted in my talent, hey.. why not. Really, I'm
wrestling at the level I wanted to, I really got into it so I could
    say I did it.

TD: If you had to pick WWF, WCW or ECW, where would you go and why?

MC: Probably the WWF, isn't that the dream of every 12 year old boys?! =)

TD: Do you have a computer? If so, what do you think of the reporters and
    sheet writers on the internet?

MC: I read alot of reports and sheets. I find alot of it to be garbage,
but alot of it is very intersting, I kinda like knowing whats going on.

TD: Do you have a college degree or any other higher education?

MC: I have a computer tech. certificate from Kwantlen University College.

TD: Any advice you'd give a wannabe wrestler?

MC: Workout hard, make sure ya have good cardio

TD: Any final comments for the readers?

MC: Look for Moondog Chopps to be making his return to the ring very
shortly at the eccw House of Pain, in langley, bc Canada...
check out the eccw site... www.eccw.com.
