Since I follow the Indy Scene and bring you fine readers interviews with Indy Wrestlers and Managers, and the occasional person that's wrestled in ECW, WCW or The WWF, we at The Ring Post thought I should bring you some Indy News from time to time. Today's news is about Mid-American Wrestling, The IWA Mid-South, and Extreme Canadian Championship Wrestling. Dawn Marie, Simon Diamond, The Sandman, Spike Dudley, Ricky Morton and Tracy Smothers all get mentioned.

Welcome to another edition of Indyvelopments. Today I've got Match Results from the Steel Domain Wresting card from February 24th (featuring Lenny Lane and the subject of my most recent interview, "Tasty" Travis Lee). I've also got dates for several upcoming shows in Minnesota, Wisconsin and Iowa, courtesy of Tim Larson and his Upper Midwest Wrestling Newsletter. I've also got the match results from The Mid-American Wrestling show from March 4 and the card for the March 24 show. I've got the results from the IWA Mid-South Show that featured The Sandman vs. Mad Man Pondo in the main event and Simon Diamond in a three way dance with The American Kickboxer and Chris Hero. The Gold Bond Mafia was at the show, so you should probably Bond up now! Also I have a list of upcoming Extreme Canadian Championship Wrestling shows, "The King of Old School" Steve Corino is coming to ECCW.

Today I have a list of Indy shows that feature ECW Talent on them that I got from Bianca of Amazon Wrestling Views, some Rob Van Dam news from his newsletter, match results from All-American Wrestling and Midwest Championship Wrestling and a list of upcoming shows from now until September from The Upper Midwest Wrestling Newsletter. In addition to Rob Van Dam and lots of ECW Wrestlers that get mentioned, so does Jerry Lawler and The Kat, Jake "The Milkman" Milliman, "All That" Matt Murphy, Tough Tom (of Disordely Conduct in WCW), Reckless Youth, The Road Dog Jesse James, One Man Gang and results of the Hair vs. Mask Match between Chango Loco and The Blessed Reverend Axl Future.

This week I have match results from a show held on March 4th in Beloit, Wisconsin, The Midwest Pro Wrestling show that was held March 17, and a list of upcoming shows in Minnesota, Wisconsin and Iowa from now until September. I also have information on ordering videotapes of the IWA Mid-South King of The Death Matches tournament. and information on Doink The Clown, King Kong Bundy, Daryck St. Holmes, Esquire, "Classic" Colt Cabana, Dave Prazak, and did you know that Mikey Whipwreck and Lenny Lane recently wrestled together in a tag team match?
Indyvelopments 06- March 26, 2001
Central State Championship Wrestling is based out of Topeka, Kansas. They also have a wrestling school there. I don’t know how long they’ve been around. They had a show on March 24, 2001 at The National Guard Armory at Pittsburg, Kansas. There were only 5 matches, but it was a solid show. I don’t know what titles they have, but I do know that 17 year old Platinum Kid is the first CSCW Cruiserweight Champion because he won the belt at the show on the 24th.

In today's Indyvelopments I have news on Simon Diamond and a few shows that he will be on with Dawn Marie. I've got match results from a NWA New Jersey show that featured Chris Candido with Tammy Lynn Sytch vs. Big Dick Dudley in the main event. Julio Dinero was at that show as well. I also have some match results from Extreme Canadian Championship Wrestling that featured Steve Corino. I have some World Class Championship Wrestling Match Results and news on Kevin Northcutt vs. Mr. Wrestling III. I also have some news on Stu Hart.

We're starting off with Mid American Wrestling news because the Hardcore Cup starts tonight! Two nights, 15 Death Matches, 16 Wrestlers and I won't even guess how many stitches! The Reverend Axl Future is probably not the 16th wrestler, and I have no idea who the mystery wrestler is and what the mystery stipulation is. I was hoping we'd find out before today. Ian Rotten, Hardcore Craig, "Sick" Nick Mondo, Mad Man Pondo and 12 others are in The Hardcore Cup. Next is match results from the All American Wrestling show from April 13th. J-Rock, Kamikaze, Tony DeNucci and Primetime and more were on that show. Also are match results from the Midwest Pro Wrestling and All American Wrestling shows from April 14th. Shawn Daivari, Sheriff Johnny Emerald and Dr. Darin Davis were among the wrestlers at The Midwest Pro show, and it was a big night for Ian Xavier. Horace The Psychopath and Scotty Zappa were among the wrestlers at The All American show. I have Upcoming show information from now until September featuring Lenny Lane, Jerry Lynn, The Road Dogg, One Man Gang and The Honky Tonk Man. In this edition of Indyvelopments, I have six different sets of match results. First off from Packerland Pro Wrestling on April 7th featuring "Lethal" Lisa Wild, Conan The Dark Rider and Lance Wright. There are match results from two North American Wrestling Federation shows. First their April 17th show featuring Daryck St. Holmes, Esquire, Jerry "The King" Lawler and The Kat and the April 20th show featuring Adrian Lynch, Jake "The Milkman" Milliman and Tough Tom. I have results from The Plymouth Championship Wrestling show from April 21st featuring Chris Canada, Shimdog and Stevie Wallace. Also, match results from the AWA Superstars show from April 21st featuring Danny Dominion, Ace Steel and Dick The Bruiser, Jr. And the final set of match results are from the Pro Wrestling America show from April 22nd. Sheriff Johnny Emerald, Derrick Dukes, Ashley Xavier and Lacey were some of the people on that show. I also have a list of upcoming matches in Wisconsin, Minnesota and Iowa from now until September.
Indyvelopments 16- May 6, 2001 (Part 1 of 2)
In Part 1 of this edition of Indyvelopments, I have MAW news and upcoming show information. The Mid-American Wrestling website is updated with pictures of the shows of April 7th and the Hardcore Cup shows on April 20th and 21st. I also have the MAW card for May 18, all courtesy of the Mid American Newsletter. Stacy does great work with the newsletter, and she is taking over the IWA Mid-South Newsletter as well. I have IWA Mid-South Match Results from the April 28th show, some IWA Mid-South news and info about tonight’s show. Necro Butcher, Corporal Robinson, Paul E. (Chuck E.) Smooth and others in action tonight, and tickets are only $5! Psycho Sam Cody, Axl Rotten, Kid Kash and Tracy Smothers will be on the next IWA Mid-South show. I also have some news on "Lightning" Mike Quackenbush. Quack's website is back! The National Wrestling Alliance Forum is back on their website and I have some match results and news from Extreme Canadian Championship Wrestling/NWA Pacific Northwest, featuring the subject of my most recent interview, Juggernaut and several other ECCW stars, and Christopher Daniels and Nova will be appearing in ECCW this month. Finally there is World Class Championship Wrestling match results featuring "The Real Deal" Adrian Steel, "The Natural Born Killer" Kevin Northcutt, Doink The Clown and Mr. Wrestling III.

I have match results from the April 27th Steel Domain Wrestling show featuring Classic Colt Cabana, Tony DeNucci, Eric Priest, Lenny Lane and Jerry Lynn won the SDW Lightheavyweight title from Ace Steel. I have match results from the April 28th Minnesota Independent Wrestling show featuring Lenny Lane, Jerry Lynn, Big Daddy Hoofer and Magnus Maximus. I have match results from The April 28th World All-Star Wrestling Alliance show featuring Wild Bill Irwin and Jasyn Vain vs. Blacktop Bully and Tommy Gunn. I have match results from the April 28th National Federation of Wrestling show that featured Shinobi, Dan Armstrong, Chaz Kildare and Peter B. Beautiful. And there are match results from the April 28th American Wrestling Organization show that featured Billy Crookston, Redneck Justice, Gator, Will E. Mean and Ozz.
