[Interview conducted by Tony D. on March 30, 2000]
TD: What's your real name, and what gimmicks have/do you use?
AD: Alexis DeVine, define "gimmick"
TD: What height/weight are you?
AD: CLASSIFIED INFORMATION
TD: What circuits do you currently wrestle in?
AD: I wrestle for the Superstars of Wrestling Federation
TD: What circuits have you wrestled in?
AD: NWA-Southwest was the first fed I wrestled for
TD: What titles have you held?
AD: None, for some unknown reason Texas feds dont have womens titles. (or
at least the feds that I have worked for)
TD: When did you decide to become a wrestler?
AD: July '99
TD: And how did you get started?
AD: A promoter kept calling the house wanting me in his school. He said
they needed womens wrestlers and there were none to be found... so I
agreed to go to class and learn.
TD: Who has been the biggest influence on your career?
AD: Skandor Akbar, because he is just the greatest ever and Tony Colletti
because he is willing to teach if you are willing to learn, the man
has the heart for the sport.
TD: What has been the greatest moment of your career?
AD: My wrestling debut for the Superstars Of Wrestling.
TD: Who are/were you trained by? What kind of athletic background do you
have before you became a wrestler?
AD: I started training at the NWA-Southwest Acad. but, quickly left for
training under General Skandor Akbar.
TD: Who is your favorite wrestler to work with in the ring?
AD: For a show match... it would have to be Marshall Law. Working out it
would have to be Tony.
TD: Any major enemies? If so, who, and why?
AD: Yeah, Melissa. She just won't seem to go away. I've wrestled her 3 times
and 3 times I have pinned her. Gotta give her an E for effort. She just
keeps coming back. Why she does is a complete mystery.
TD: In which promotion are you the most over?
AD: Superstars of Wrestling
TD: Do you ever consider working in the WWF or in WCW if they are
interested in your talent?
AD: Not really.
TD: If you had to pick, WWF, WCW or ECW? Where would you go? And why?
AD: Neither. I dont feel they can see past the T & A of a woman wrestler.
I'm here to wrestle, not show T& A.
TD: Do you have a computer? If so, what do you think of the reporters and
sheet writers on the internet?
AD: Yes, I have a computer. 3 in fact. Some that I have read are
really great, but some are pretty bad too...
TD: Do you have a college degree or any other higher education?
AD: Yes, I do.
TD: Any advice you'd give a wannabe wrestler?
AD: Just have fun with it.
