First Christian Church Mission Statement

We, the congregation of First Christian Church (Disciples of Christ), in Fort Scott Kansas,
believe we are called by the Holy Spirit through the teaching of Jesus Christ
to do the work of God on earth.To accomplish this we shall commit our resources of
leadership, time, facility, and money to serve and nurture all people,
especially youth, the spiritually hungry, the aging, and the economically oppressed.
